Moose and Timberwolf Hunt

  • We are located 125 air miles NE of Fort McMurray and only 70 miles south of the North West Territories border which is the line that differentiates the Alaskan / Yukon moose from the Canadian moose. (Zone 530)

  • We are hunting the largest possible Canadian moose; an excellent chance for a P&Y moose and it's quite possible to get the new world archery record..

  • Our moose hunting season runs from mid September to mid October.

  • We hunt during the full rut around lakes by calling in the moose.

  • The guides call the bulls to you so minimal walking is required.

  • However this is a wilderness hunt, especially at the tent camps, so be prepared to rough it, and help your guides when needed.

  • Timberwolf is also included in this hunt.

  • Birch Mountain helicopter hunts in Zone 531 are sold out until 2003.  We still have fly-in moose hunts available for 2002 in Zone 530.
